“Hollywood Alley had planned to celebrate its 25th anniversary in late August with a three-day blowout.
Instead, the quintessential Valley rock club, just east of the 101 on W. Baseline Road in Mesa, is closing on Wednesday, July 31.”

The AZ Rollergirls are having their debut bout Saturday March 12th at the Broadway Recreational Center in Mesa and the crew will be partying afterwards at Hollywood Alley. Antique Scream and Witchburn from Seattle provide the entertainment. If you have a AZ Rollergirl Deberby ticket stub, you will ge in for $3 instead of $5
Behind the veil of all the hieratic and mystical allegories of ancient doctrines, behind the darkness and strange ordeals of all initiations, under the seal of all sacred writings, in the ruins of Nineveh or Thebes, on the crumbling stones of old temples and on the blackened visage of the Assyrian or Egyptian sphinx, in the monstrous or marvelous paintings which interpret to the faithful of India the inspired pages of the Vedas, in the cryptic emblems of our old books on alchemy, in the ceremonies practised at reception by all secret societies, there are found indications of a doctrine which is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed. This is rock and roll. This is Antique Scream.
Heavy, down-tuned, southern fried, whiskey soaked sabbra cadabra. Witchburn delivers passionate, moody southern metal, made even more powerful by the band’s fierce energy and considerable musical chops. The smoky grooves are deep and heavy, tapping into a classic rock vein with gritty guitar lines, seamlessly blending vintage rock influence with that of modern metal.
